Paul, Wave Tribe Rep and Canadaian river ripper gets snaked by musician Donavon in Montreal this week as he attempts to tow-in to not so monster river swell (that’s Paul holding the rope). We contacted Paul and asked him what really happened:
“Theres all this tension in facebook, donavon said he’s surfin the river!!! when? for real? the whole town shows up sunday mornin just to get a peek—-we chat and so forth—-at one point he’s so anxious to catch a wave he almost runs me over, he avoids me, which in turn helps him stay in the steep part of the wave and stay in his first wave.”
Later Paul scored a good wave and all were stoked to be surfing the river; we made sure Donavon got one of our recycled leases before he left the area and we’d be super stoked if he’d share the eco stoke with us.
